Dr Sahan Jayasinghe

I am an early career scientist in CSIRO-IMOS Plankton Team. I have an underlying passion in the experimental aspects of molecular biology and developing practical applications for the monitoring of marine ecosystems and assessing the impacts of climate change. My current research is focused on the convergence of classical and molecular ecology such as integrating plankton taxonomy with the complementary power of high throughput genomic analysis for community-based assessments.
