Background
I am a graduate Environmental Biologist with an interest in aquatic systems, catchment management, and harmful algal blooms. I am passionate about sustainable land use, nutrient cycling, and the influence of climate variability on water quality and bloom dynamics. I would like to work with an organisation that puts in place strategies to mitigate risks across freshwater and marine systems. Professionally, I have worked across research, sustainability, and education. This includes corporate sustainability planning (CSR, ESG, waste and carbon audits) and community environmental education. These roles have given me experience translating ecological science into practical outcomes for diverse stakeholders. I am interested in eastern and southern Australian catchments and coasts, but I am also motivated by international perspectives on bloom management in the context of climate change. I would like to contribute to integrated catchment protection and water quality management that supports both biodiversity and community resilience.
