Background
I am a citizen taxonomist working on Nemertea and Staurozoa, with a side line in sea slugs. I have 45 years experience with intertidal invertebrates of Victoria. I am building a network of volunteer plankton counters with the aim of establishing baseline data and running long term monitoring for HABs in Victoria, especially around Port Phillip Bay. Volunteers in Victoria are welcome to contact me for training and free basic equipment and supplies. (Sorry, BYO microscope.)
