Background
Biostratigrapher with over 20 years experience in dinoflagellate and spore-pollen analysis and taxonomy. Although my main area of expertise is Mesozoic and Cenozoic palynology (primarily dinoflagellates, but also spore-pollen) I have experience in sections from the Cambrian to present day. I have been monitoring the HAB in South Australia since March 2025 over a number of sites with a focus on undestanding the whole assemblage as well as dinoflagellate taxonomy.
