We are pleased to announce that the Australia New Zealand Marine Harmful Algal Bloom Network was recently granted incorporated status. With this milestone achieved, we are planning the ANZHABNet inaugural AGM. Nominations are now open for election to the ANZHABNet Committee at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held on 25 November 2026 in conjunction with the Science Symposium.

We encourage members to consider nominating themselves or a colleague to help shape the future direction of the network. Members may nominate for more than one position. The Committee needs representatives from at least 5 Australian states and territories and New Zealand to ensure broad regional representation across the network.

Who Can Nominate?

For the purposes of the 2026 AGM, ANZHABNet members are individuals subscribed to the ANZHABNet mailing list at the nomination closing date. Membership subscriptions have not yet been established, so eligibility to nominate, stand for election and vote is based on inclusion on the mailing list.
